The challenges of a faith journey
Faith journeys are rarely straightforward, and just as the things people
found encouraging were varied, so were their challenges. Half had problems
understanding the Bible and 43% identified difficult aspects of Christian belief, eg
suffering, hell, other religions, sexual ethics, etc as barriers. When asked what two
factors were most challenging, the results were:
