Branch
Encouragements
From Park Runs to the local police –there are so many opportunities
for our branches to share God’s Word. Here’s a few of them.
Leicestershire North Branch held a pavement
distribution outside Loughborough University where
they handed out 400 Testaments along with HOPE
and Explore magazines. There were many good
conversations, and our varied team were able to
connect with a good range of people. One student
runner ran five laps around the university perimeter
before accepting a Testament at his finish.
Les and Jen Sheehan, Suffolk East Branch, and
Mike Cadman, Lowestoft Branch, recently had the
opportunity to make a presentation to the Chief
Constable of Suffolk Constabulary, Rachael Kearton.
With her permission the Bible had the Suffolk
Constabulary badge embossed on the front.
Arrangements were made for the visit to the
Constabulary Headquarters at Martlesham near Ipswich
and branch members were very well received by
Ms Kearton in her office. It was good to make a joint
presentation and answer questions about who GOOD
NEWS for Everyone! are, what they do and why they
Wirral South Branch set up a stall at a recent Park Run do it. Karl also had the opportunity to promote the

“There was quite a bit of interest, and we gave away
many copies of HOPE and Explore magazines as well
as Personal Worker Testaments. We also gave bottles of
water to tired runners. "Everyone who drinks this water
will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give
him will never thirst." John 4:13-14.”
The following encouragement was received from
Neil Bourne, Westminster Branch:
A beautiful Iranian couple – both architects in their
early 30’s - were baptised at our church to publicly
declare they have become followers of Jesus. The link
was the Explore magazine.
Five months ago, Farzane was walking through
Wealdstone and an Explore magazine was passed across
with an invitation to church. She came to our morning
service the next day and asked if her husband Ali could
come the following Sunday. They have been coming
ever since, and during this time they have come to faith.
Thanks be to God.”
