We have been greatly encouraged by the reports from those who attended the outreach in Coventry last Saturday afternoon. These are just a few snippets from the many encouragements:
- I wanted to share that during the outreach in Coventry, a young man named Rajat (from Nepal) accepted Jesus.
- Patricia from Harare, Zimbabwe, was passing and came over and asked, "Could you pray for me? Everything is going wrong." I prayed with her and she received God’s peace and gladly took a Testament.
- Mary was approaching the entrance to the hospital but paused her walk as I approached her and she engaged. She accepted prayer for her husband who she was visiting. She was very receptive and said she would like prayer for her Daniel, her husband. Mary shared that Daniel had come in for a routine op but had contracted Sepsis. We needed to lift him up and so I prayed. Mary was moved and thankful accepting both the New Testament and Hope magazine.
- Two young Polish children, boy and girl, accepted Jesus as their Saviour.
- Our group arrived in Coventry not knowing where the town centre was so I stopped a man and asked him if he knew Jesus. He was a Pastor, Simon, on his way to evangelise in the centre! Simon led us to where local Christians were worshipping and preaching the Gospel. Within 5 minutes George, aged 22, from India got wonderfully saved.
- Spoke to a Muslim who said he didn’t attend the local Mosque. "I’m just trying to find myself" he said. He took a Testament willingly and Bob encouraged him, ‘if you are sincerely seeking, he will be found of you’.
- At the hospital a Pakistani taxi driver jumped out of his cab and came to thank us for what we were doing, He said he had been converted in Pakistan aged 11. He took a Testament for a friend he wished to give it to.
