One current item for your prayers concerns a Christian Union Mission at Middlesex University, where London North East branch member, Chaltu, is a student. Here is a summary of what she shared with us recently:
"I have just finished our prayer meeting on campus right now and it was so encouraging to see the students who came from different religious backgrounds and worshiped and prayed with us. Last Tuesday and Wednesday there was a Mission on the campus aimed at the new students who joined this January. For two days, we shared the Gospel and invited new students for evening worship and free refreshments. We also distributed 50 GNFE Testaments and 23 Hope Magazines. During those two days 13 new students accepted Jesus as their Saviour.
Today I have received information from the group that a few of them went to the church nearby the University - and tomorrow one student is going to be baptised and another is considering getting baptised. This evening, at our prayer meeting, one non-believer, one Jew and one Catholic joined us.
It is so encouraging what God has done. We need strong prayer that many may come and join us - as well as prayer for those who have started coming to church to continue to fellowship with Jesus. Pray for the one who is going to be baptised tomorrow. Pray for those who came and didn’t decide to receive Jesus.”
Be encouraged - the Lord is clearly at work.
