I posted some time ago that Devon East branch was intending to hold a recruitment event before Christmas. Because Devon was moved fro Tier 1 to Tier 2 Covid restrictions, the event could not take place.
We still have six or seven interested people, but no idea when we will be able to invite them to a meeting. Please pray for us as we prayerfully consider whether it is better to wait until the restrictions ease or to hold the meeting on 'Zoom.'

A recent scan report has confirmed that Brian Mansfield of Mendip Branch has cancer secondary deposits in his right thigh as well as his abdomen. Brian has asked us to pray for immunotherapy commencing next month along with radiotherapy.
Brian writes: "I wait for the Lord’s answer as to whether this treatment will buy me a significant extension of this life, or a home call sooner rather than later". He also asks us to pray that the immunotherapy will not have an adverse impact on his Multiple Sclerosis.
Let us support our brother as he seeks the Lord's will.

On December 10th we are holding a small recruitment event in Woodbury, near Exmouth. Currently we have six people saying they are definitely coming, and this may rise if some spouses come along.
Please pray that those who have promised to come will actually show up, that the GNFE ministry will be presented winsomely, and that God will lead most of those coming to join.
Four or five active new members would make a huge difference to the branch.

Also for their son Adrian (married with children) who has had a form of leukemia for several years and is looking for treatment to help with ongoing infections. I spoke with Levi (Slough Branch) this morning and he has made a great recovery following his surgery for a twisted bowel. He hopes to be discharged Monday 23.11.20. Praise God that recent scans have shown that his brain and lung tumours have shrunk. He has a further 5 rounds of chemo, starting on the 27.11.20. During his stay in hospital, he has been able to arrange for bibles to be given to local asylum seekers, through a contact he was given by National Office. I was able to pray with him on the phone. this morning. He is so thankful for your ongoing prayers and asks that you pray that God will powerfully heal him of his cancer.

Praise God that Levi (Slough Branch) is recovering well from his recent major surgery. He is out of ITU and has been able to take a few steps. Yesterday He was on his phone from his bed arranging to fulfil a request for Bibles! Our God is good.
