We praise and thank our wonderful God for making it possible for GNFE Region 7 & the Farming Christian Link to get a stand at the New Forest & Hampshire County Show again this year, on 25th to 27th July.

Please pray that enough volunteers will be available to cover the 3 days, and that the stand we are given will be in an area that many people will walk through. And pray especially that there will be many opportunities to share the gospel and give out Scriptures to members of the public and the farmers community who visit the event.

Please pray for members who need support due to health conditions and for those moving out of our area, giving thanks to the service they have made. Giving thanks to those who are staying and praying. Praying for new members to come forward to help in the work.

Please join the team thanking the Lord for all those who have registered. Also thanks for Jeremy offering to organise the outreach in May and for interest being shown on websites.

You may have heard of the tragic death of the Headmistress of Epsom College, her husband and 7 year old daughter over the weekend 4-5 February, in what police describe as 'an isolated incident'.
Members of Surrey-Mid and Kingston branch took an assembly there in September and again in December 2021 and gave out lots of Testaments. Please pray that the Lord will work good in this situation and that many pupils will read their Testaments and be comforted and saved. Please pray for Andrew Havilard the Chaplain there that he may be inspired by the Holy Spirit as he seeks to minister to staff and pupils. Thank you.

My Mother has been a member of the Association since 1987, in the last few years mainly as a prayer warrior for her branch, Suffolk Mid. She went to be with the Lord on 2nd January 2023 and her thanksgiving service is on 20th January 2023 at 2pm in Fressingfield Church, St Peter and St Pauls, Fressingfield, Eye, Suffolk, IP21 5PE - All are Welcome.

Eric McGibbon, Chairman is having problems with racing heart beat! He is awaiting an appointment to see a cardio consultant. His Blood Pressure is fairly low and he is also retaining fluid in feet and ankles and the chest. Eric feels reasonably fine within himself. Since having Covid in May he has had a series of illnesses! Please pray for both Margaret and Eric that they may have a real peace as they battle this storm.

An exciting opportunity to distribute Scriptures to Hotels prior to the Coronation of King Charles III in London followed by personal witnessing on the streets around the time of the Coronation.
The LSF team would appreciate prayer for:
* Geoff Mann as he enthuses Branches to be involved, especially liaising with Church Leaders
* Martin Hodder mapping the target area
*Andrew Newham negotiating Base Hotel rates
*Team members involved in surveys and planning.

Please pray for David Hickman whose health situation has deteriorated significantly since he was identified as having in-operable cancer about a year ago.
Please also pray for his widowed sister who lives nearby.

Urgent prayer for Katherine Dr David Morgan's Daughter. For some time now she has been receiving treatment for cancer. All seemed well, but latest scan the cancer has spread. The hospital is to restart treatment but the prognosis is not good. This young mother of Two boys and husband who is offshore most of time really needs help to overcome this attack of her human frame. Her parents too need much prayer, David and Jenny.

We have 20 people attending, including 4 local Church Leaders, our Scripture Focus Dinner on 15th September at Kingswood Baptist Church.
We were reminded at our recent Steering Meeting of putting on the Armour of God, outlined in Ephesians 6, as we enter into this Scripture Focus next week.
Please continue to pray for all those involved.

We also need to thank God for the life and witness of our late Queen Elizabeth II and the numerous testimonies of her personal life and faith in Jesus Christ as Her Lord and Saviour, and pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for our new King Charles III and Prime Minster, Liz Truss.
