Please continue in prayer for the Bournemouth Branch who urgently need new members to help regenerate the local work. Recent approaches to some of the local church leaders did not result in any potential members being identified, and therefore the recruitment event planned for November has been postponed. However, a new project has been put in place to re-launch the recruitment event, with church leaders being contacted early next year.
Please pray for all involved in the effort to regenerate the work in the Bournemouth Branch area, that they will know God’s will and direction as they plan from here.
Please also pray that God will call new members to the Bournemouth Branch.

Please pray for members of our Edinburgh Branch as we interact with students at the Heriot-Watt University (Wednesday 7th September) and Napier University (Thursday 8th September) Freshers’ Fairs. ( 1 John 5:15 ). May many souls be saved to the glory of God.

There has currently been a poor response from local Church leaders and local Christians to attend the Scripture Blitz Church Leaders and New Members Dinner on Thursday 15th September.
We are currently following up some of those that did not respond by telephone.
Please make this an urgent prayer request and continue to pray for more volunteers to become involved.

Please pray for the Bournemouth branch who urgently need new members to help regenerate the local work. Phone calls to 30 of the branch area’s church leaders will be made in early August, with the aim of arranging some church leader visits on 19th-21st September. Please underpin these phone calls with your prayers, that they would result in ministers being enthused by the ministry and lead to appointments and presentation opportunities. Please also pray for the recruitment event being planned for the start of November- that God would call new members to refresh and encourage the branch.

Please join Region 7 in giving the praise, thanks and glory to our Great God for the wonderful opportunities this week at the New Forest Show. We ordered 1,000 Farming Badged Testaments and members from several R7 branches joined Farming Christian Link at their stand. 987 testaments were accepted, please pray that the words of eternal life leap off the pages to those who read them, so that lives can be changed. In the words of Peter Bacon, our DSD, "praised God, it's all HIS work!"

Our dear brother Adrian Todd went home to be with his Lord on Sunday evening 10th July. He was a faithful member of Edinburgh Branch and a former Zone 1 Trustee. Please remember his wife Val, who is in poor health, and the wider family at this time.

The Thanksgiving Service will be at Charlotte Chapel, 58 Shandwick Place, Edinburgh, EH2 4RT on Saturday 6th August at 11am (DV) to which all are warmly invited.

Psalm 116:15

We seek prayers to our God that He would be glorified as the GOOD NEWS is shared;

1. Praise our God for the opportunities he will give us, we must not waste them
2. Pray that all of us - members, churches, friends will be gentle, joyful and full of the Holy Spirit.
3. Pray for the members of the emergency services and their respective chaplains as they work extended hours
4. Pray that we will be bold and not afraid to engage in conversations with grace
5. Pray for safety of all sporting participants, visitors and those serving them, including those sharing the GOOD NEWS in Birmingham and every venue from July 28th to August 8th
6. Pray for unity and warm fellowship as we work together
7. Pray that the enemy be restrained as he is cunning and “prowls around like a roaring Lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8 NIVUK)
8. Pray that all the scriptures will be accepted, read used by the Holy Spirit to speak the Gospel to needy souls of salvation in our Lord Jesus.
9. Pray for the Steering committee and their families as the planning and arrangements are made and for the many churches that we will be working alongside.
10. Many visitors will return to countries that are “closed” to the Gospel, pray they return, like the Ethiopian Eunuch of Acts 8:39 – “rejoicing”!

Thanks so much for your prayers for our Scripture Focus on Teesside. We gave out 1490 scriptures and 187 magazines, with very few refusals and mainly a warm welcome.
Our Church Leaders' meal had 23 CLs, 23 members and Chris, who gave testimony. From drugs, prison and homelessness a visit to a foodbank and the gift of a PWT resulted in him becoming a Christian, getting baptised and now having a job.
