Thank you for all your prayers for the East Solent Scripture Focus. All went well over the two days, and those involved were able to give over 3,100 Scriptures and Hope Magazines to over 180 establishments (B&Bs, Care Homes, Funeral Directors).
Praise the Lord for the opportunities He provided - and please continue to pray that many people will be blessed as they read His Word.

We give thanks to the Lord for the life of our dear sister, Mabel Mitchell, a much valued member of Northants East Branch who was called home on Thursday 16th September. Please pray for her husband, Mike, and their family.
Mabel's Funeral Service will take place at Woodford Baptist Chapel at 12 noon on Thursday 30th September.

Please pray for the East Solent Scripture Focus (ESSF) which is planned to happen next week (21st and 22nd September 2021) in the Portsmouth and Hants South East branch areas. Please pray:

- that the Scriptures and Hope Magazines will arrive safely and on time;
- for protection for all involved, including safe travelling throughout the two days;
- that the Bibles, Testaments and Hope magazines will be accepted by those who said they were willing to have them for their establishments - and that any non-responders that are visited will also receive Bibles, Testaments and Hope magazines as well.
- for God given opportunities to witness for the Lord Jesus during the 2 days.

Our dear brother and former Executive Director of TGI in The British Isles, Ian Hall, was called home to glory at lunchtime on Thursday 19th August. We thank God for every remembrance of Ian, and especially pray for the family at this time.Psalm 116:15.

Please remember our Brother Ian Hall, Edinburgh Branch, and his family, as he is at end of life, currently in Archview Care Home, Dalkeith.

We are greatly encouraged, and trust you will be too, that all four potential members who attended our Recruitment Event on 30 June have now been accepted into membership of the Association, two of them into another branch having moved from Southampton just recently.

Please thank the Lord with us for calling them to join and their obedience in doing so. Do pray now they will be welcomed into their respective branches, integrated into the work, supported well by fellow members, and excited as their witness to others and distribute the Scriptures.

918 care homes, funeral directors and homeless hostels in South and West London were sent a HOPE magazine in the middle of last week.

Please pray for the 37 members of the telephone team who will be contacting the establishments during the week beginning Monday the 16th August to obtain orders to deliver during the week beginning the 6th September.

Please especially pray:
- that the team will get through to the right person in the organisation;
- that the Lord will give the team the right words to say;
- that many copies of God's Word will ordered!
