Graham wrote this on Sunday:
"It is with sadness tinged with hope that I have to tell you that Mary was called home in her sleep in the early hours of this morning surrounded by her family. We are grateful to the Lord that she was free from pain and is now resting in eternal joy."
Please pray for Graham and the children at this time of sadness.
The funeral has been arranged for Tuesday January 4th 2022 at Weston-super-Mare Crematorium at 11.30 am followed by a Thanksgiving Service at Clevedon Baptist Church at 2.30 pm.
Both events are being live streamed.

Message from Courtney Brown:
Thanks for all the prayers, he had his operation yesterday - part of ball and socket replaced.
He said PTL .

Please pray for Courtney Brown, Birmingham North Branch. He had a fall at home on the morning of Sunday 5th December and has broken his hip.
Courtney is in Heartlands Hospital.
Pray also for his wife Dolcie.
Today (Thursday 9th) we heard his operation was deferred but he is to be transfer to a surgical ward tonight.
Please pray that he will get his operation as soon as possible.

Please pray, as the Church Leaders receive the initial information and invitation to our Church Leaders' Dinner on 17th June 2022, that they will put it in their diaries with a view to coming

Graham has provided another update to help focus our prayers:
Mary was admitted to hospital last week and put on a course of antibiotics to control a swelling of her abdomen. We were informed this morning that the treatment had been unsuccessful and that there would be no further medical intervention. She will be discharged to home, possibly tomorrow, for palliative care.
I have converted a bedroom to include various medical aids so that she will be as safe and comfortable as possible.

Graham Sparkes asks for urgent prayer for Mary. She was admitted to the Bristol Oncology Centre initially for observation and a CT scan last evening, but has been informed that the planned surgery is not possible because of the rapid spread of the cancer and that further intervention is unlikely.

Please uphold both Mary and Graham and the family in prayer.

Please pray for the recruitment initiative Wilts NW Branch is holding as Duncan Harvey, National Membership Recruitment Adviser, meets at least 10 Church Leaders next week, DV, on 2, 3 and 4 November. He will be seeking the names of potential members from the leaders and they, plus contacts from within the Branch, will be invited to a low-key recruitment event on 6 December.
Please pray the men and women God is calling to join the Association will hear and obey the call so that the Branch is strengthened. And give thanks to our gracious Lord for the great work Branch members have already done in arranging the visits. Thank you.

Let's hold Bas Wright in our prayers as he grieves the loss of his wife, Jean recently, the loss of his independence with being told not to drive, and the need to make decisions about his heart condition which entail some risk; pray he will know God's perfect peace...

After many months of illness and hospitalisation The Lord took Jean Wright to be with Himself on 28th September. Jean's funeral service will take place at Martock Christian Fellowship, Martock at 3:30p.m. on Tuesday 12th October.

Please pray for Bas and the extended family in their loss.
