We received a call from Mr Browne who has asked for prayer of healing. He has a weak heart and poor circulation, he would appreciate prayer for strength over these coming weeks. He and I shared a time of prayer over the phone and I promised I would share his request with you.

Posted by: SU003Created: Thu, 08/10/2020Following surgery last November it seemed I was making slow but steady progress. A recent scan showed that the cancer has returned and spread to additional parts of my body. Six sessions of chemotherapy are planned the first took place on Monday 28th September. My son (Neil) and daughter (Kate) continue to tenderly care for me along with some incredible people who bless us daily. Challenging days lie ahead but we are confident the Lord will be with us every step of the way.
We are very grateful for the wonderful prayer and practical support we are receiving from our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Posted by: G5943Created: Fri, 02/10/2020Thank you for your prayers for Annabel.
The Lord has graciously answered your prayers and she was discharged from hospital to home on Tuesday.
The medical staff have all expressed surprise at her rate of recovery giving her several opportunities to not only thank them for their amazing care, dedication and expertise but also to witness to the many who prayed for her.
Recovery will take several months but she is pleased to be home.2020 London Scripture Focus Praise and Prayer

Although they never officially became members here, they were a great asset to the Bournemouth Branch.

Subject: LSF2020 Update 7th September 2020Dear Duncan,
Thank you so much for your prayers for LSF2020!
We feel that God has very much been with us all the way through this venture, from National Office’s organising of the mailing to 700 care homes and funeral directors in north, north east and central London, to the 27 members of the telephone team who by sheer perseverance brought in orders for 11,500 copies of God's Word to be delivered to 332 establishments, to the 16 teams who will make deliveries over 16 routes working out of 4 base stations on Thursday and Friday of this week.
A month ago we had no personal witnessing opportunities for next Saturday, but we now have 3 centres and orders for a further 1,500 copies of God's Word, Praise the Lord!
These personal witnessing centres are in Romford on Saturday morning, Central Westminster on Saturday afternoon and Edmonton between 10.00 and 3.00 on Saturday. We still have a few spaces on these teams on a first come basis so please contact me if the Lord is leading you to take part in one of these and I'll put you in touch with the person who can give you more details
Please pray this coming week that:
- The 2 deliveries from the printers on Monday will arrive safely and on time
- The picking and packing of the 455 boxes by a small group from the LSF committee in a church in Gidea Park on Tuesday and Wednesday will go smoothly
- The distribution of the packed boxes to the 4 base stations on Wednesday and Thursday will be made safely
- The deliveries to the 332 establishments on Thursday and Friday will go smoothly
- The Lord will be preparing the hearts and minds of those who will receive their own copies of God’s Word
In our devotions yesterday we read in Colossians 4 verse 3 'Pray for us too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we can proclaim the mystery of Christ...'
Please pray with us this week
God Bless
